The Village of Petersburg entered the Keep Nebraska Beautiful Deanie Anderson Outstanding Community Environmental competition.
The award was in line with all the activities completed from June 1, 2008 through June 1, 2009. Petersburg won first place in the statewide competition in population category, zero to 2,500.
