District #41 State Senator Kate Sullivan serves approximately 37,500 constituents. On Friday morning, she came to Elgin to listen to the concerns of local residents during a two-hour coffee.
Sponsored by Great Plains Communications, Sullivan’s visit offered Elgin residents an opportunity to learn more about state government.
One of the accomplishments of the most recent legislative session was re-districting. District #41 was changed, adding all of Pierce County while deleting the northern portion of Hall County. Sullivan noted how the northern portion of Hall County wasn’t quite the same as the remainder of her district which consists primarily of small towns where agriculture is the driving force.
