Snow with some ice under it has made for slippery driving conditions in the Elgin area. While city and state crews are busy clearing away the snow on the highways and streets, drivers still need to exercise some caution, especially when slowing for stops and turns. With the wind, it is a bit harder to estimate the snowfall but it looks to be around the 4″ mark. And more snow is in the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday. E-R photo
