Louise Schindler of rural Elgin, having completed a long career in education at ESU#8, was presented the Christa McAuliffe Prize for Excellence in Education. The presentation took place at a school administrators conference held in Kearney Friday. Making the presentation was Nick Pace, Interim Dean for the College of Education and Human Services at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
