Antelope Memorial Hospital will be offering classes for expectant and new parents. The classes will be held on Tuesday and will run for three consecutive weeks starting Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. Persons wishing to attend should pre-register for these classes. They are encouraged to take the pre-natal classes early in pregnancy and childbirthing four to six weeks before the due date. The classes will be coordinated by Christie Carr, RN (402-887-5499). The classes are approximately two hours in length. Mom, dad and bab-to-be are all invited to attend the classes which will cover groth and development of the baby before birth, pregnancy, prenatal care of mother, labor and delivery, hospital care of mom and baby, and home care to include general health needs, bathing, feeding, etc. Books and pamphlets will be available. There will be a $10 charge to cover materials used.
