NELIGH — The Wolfpack’s four varsity wrestlers brought home three medals Saturday from the Neligh-Oakdale Invitational.
Some of the best teams and individual wrestlers competed in the tournament and the competition was outstanding.
The Wolfpack medal parade was led by senior Ryan Pelster. Wrestling at 145 pounds, Pelster recorded two pins in four matches. In the championship round, he lost to defending state champion Jaydon Elge of Nebraska Christian.
Senior Andrew Fangman had another good tournament. He recorded three pins and finished third in the 170-pound weight class. Teammate Logan Henn, returning to action after a one-week absence, recorded one pin and finished fourth in the 113-pound weight class.
