Meeting last week, the Antelope County Board of Supervisors did their part to help support the Elgin Community Club.
Representatives from the Elgin Community Club are in the progress of planning a ‘Luau’ fundraiser to be held Friday night, Aug. 9.
As part of the evening’s festivities, the club asked for and received from the supervisors approval of a special designated liquor license for the event which will be held at Kerkman’s Kove (formerly Flobert Springs).
The event will feature traditional Hawaiian roasted pig and sides, polynesian music as well as additiional entertainment.
