The Elgin Public Art students once again competed in the annual spring art show hosted by ESU #8 in Neligh. The show featured over 800 pieces of artwork from 16 schools that included; Battle Creek, Clearwater, Elgin Public, Elkhorn Valley, Ewing, Madison, Neligh-Oakdale, Norfolk Public, O’Neill, Orchard, Plainview, Pope John, Stanton, Verdigre and Atkinson West Holt.
The high school art students earned a total of 16 ribbons that included 8 Superiors or blues, 3 Excellents or reds and 5 Honorable Mentions or white ribbons.
Junior High earned 6 Excellents from the previous K-8 show.
