At last Thursday night’s basketball games, Elgin’s auxiliary members set aside time to recognize and honor our veterans. Throughout the evening, they were accepting donations (needed items and/or cash) for the Veterans Home in Norfolk. Prior to the start of the girls game, the colors were presented, music was played and veterans were asked to stand to be recognized.
