The Shrine Bowl of Nebraska and 2009 Head Coaches Mark Brahmer from Pierce and Jeff Gross from McCook have announced the teams.
Two local athletes, one from Elgin High School and one from Pope John Central Catholic, were selected to play one more game with the best football players from across the state.
Andrew Bauer and Josh Beckman were selected to play in the 51st annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl Football Game to be played at Memorial Stadium on July 25, 2009.
