BELLWOOD — Anthony “Tony” Stuhr, 68, of Bellwood, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, November 3 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bellwood.
Born July 24, 1946, in Petersburg to Lawrence and Mary (Starman) Stuhr Sr., Tony grew up in Petersburg and graduated from St. Johns High School in 1965.
Tony is survived by his wife, Dee Stuhr of Bellwood; sons, Kevin (Renee) Stuhr of Wahoo and Danny (Casey) Stuhr of Bellwood; daughter, Ann (Brad) Tonniges of Columbus; son, Brian (Bridget) Stuhr of Omaha; 13 grandchildren, Dylan, Amanda, Kaylee, Sidney, Taylor, Samantha, Michelle, Sam, Henry, Rylie, Isabelle, Tyler and Mary Rose; sisters, Ann (Leonard) Beckman of Elgin, Henrietta (George) Gall of Norfolk, Betty (Lyle) Mackel of Elgin, Jodie (Paul) Eisenmenger of Humphrey, Helen (Tim) Larson of Ewing and Dody (Don) Dover of Battle Creek; and brothers, Lawrence (Ellen) Stuhr of Albion, Ray (Barb) Stuhr of Columbus and Vet (Shirley) Stuhr of Petersburg.
