Fans of ‘Rock’n Roll’ turned out Friday night in Petersburg to catch a glimpse of ‘The King.’ Elvis impersonator Joseph Hall took more than 400 persons at Werner Hall on a nostalgic trip starting in the 1950s in Memphis and ending up in the 1970s when Elvis rocked Las Vegas. (Below) Two ladies with ties to Elgin, Mandi Thompson and Autumn Hoefer shared a moment after the show with the performer. Some got kisses, others were given scarves as part of the performance. The event was held as a benefit to raise funds for the new Veterans Club in Albion. Prior to the show, those in attendance were treated to a steak dinner.
