HOWELLS — Three Wolfpack wrestlers brought home first place medals at the Howells-Dodge Invite Saturday.
Logan Henn, Ryan Pelster and Andrew Fangman bested the field in their respective weight classes to start out the season in strong fashion.
Wrestling at 113 pounds, sophomore Logan Henn registered pins in all four of his matches.
Ryan Pelster, competing at 145 pounds, had a bye in the opening round, then recorded three pins and a decision to take the gold medal. At 170 pounds, senior Andrew Fangman recorded five pins to win his division. On Saturday, he recorded his 100th victory as a Wolfpack wrestler.
Also wrestling for the Wolfpack on this day was Geoffrey Carr. Competing in the 126-pound division, Carr lost his first two matches by pin, then received a bye in his other match of the day.
