CARD  OF THANKS

Thank you to everyone who had a part in “Kid’s Shopping Day”. Many jobs had to be done from setting up to taking down. The young people pitched in to help too! We appreciated all of it plus carrying out to the cars. Thanks!

We are grateful to have so many volunteers help out each year to make Kid’s Shopping Day a really nice time for family & kids. Thanks to the Knights of Columbus for use of the hall, Elgin Rescue for bringing Santa to town in style, Santa for taking time to visit with the kids, Park Womens Group for the wonderful soup & bars, Elgin Community Club for sponsoring event & their president Jeremy Young, Tony Levander & Brian Mack for set up & club secretary Betty Kallhoff, Barb Mahnke for being one of our cashiers, co-cashier Barb Bode & her FCCLA group for helping Santa & the shoppers & take down, Connie Henn for chairing the vendors booths, Karen Koinzan for helping Santa & getting candy, Wayne Ives for helping sign in kids, Marla Schindler & Dodie Mack & Bev Clark for wrapping, Evelyn Pelster for decorating all the gift sacks, Something Borrowed for decorating the stage for pictures, Kids shopping vendors who took time to bring in items, both schools for sending out letters to all kids, & all the parents who brought your kids.
