Watching basketball and helping the local food pantry at the same time?
That’s what’s planned for Thursday night, Jan. 28, at the Elgin High School gymnasium. EPPJ will be hosting Humphrey/LHF in a girls/boys basketball doubleheader.
Students in grades K – 12 at Elgin Public and Pope John/St.Boniface will be admitted into the game free with a donation of a food item. Come cheer on EPPJ and help the local food pantry.
The food drive is sponsored by the First Grade at Elgin Public and FCCLA.
Band Alumni To Perform
Elgin High will be hosting a Pep Band Extravaganza on Thursday, January 28 during the Humphrey/LHF game!
All alumni or local musicians that want to play are welcome and will get in the game free!
Festivities will start at approximately 6 p.m. with the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner.”
To get a “get in free” card, stop by the office at the high school, or contact Heithoff at 402-843-2455, 402-992-7829, or eric.heithoff@elgineagles.org. Music will be provided that night for band members.
