The ‘Power of Red’ will be coming to Elgin in January, thanks to the #2411 Chapter of the Elgin Knights of Columbus. A Winter Stag will be held at the KC Hall on Saturday, January 16. Starting at 6 p.m., the event will feature a dinner, program, silent auction and raffles as well as an opportunity to meet past and current Husker football players.
Scheduled to attend the event are current Huskers Tyler Legate, Ricky Henry, Zac Lee, Matt May and Lance Thorell.
Those five players all played instrumental roles in helping Nebraska win the Big 12 North Division this season.
