COLUMBUS — The Wolfpack golf team showed Thursday they can compete against anyone.
In one of the more competitive golf tournaments of the season, the Wolfpack took third place in the Watson Division at the 2016 Scotus Invite.
West Point GACC won the division with a score of 361, just one stroke better than Columbus Scotus Gold at 362. The Wolfpack followed with a 375.
Other team scores were Shelby/Rising City 387, Boone Central/Newman Grove 391, Wahoo Bishop Neumann 394, Columbus Scotus White 402, Fremont Bergan 417, Lakeview White 418 and Columbus High JV 438.
Hannah Hunke of West Point GACC was medalist, carding an 18-hole score of 84. Hunter Reestman led the Wolfpack with a (44-46) 90, finishing sixth.
Other Wolfpack scores were Chad Bode (47-47) 94, Liam Heithoff (50-44) 94, Miles Schrage (48-49) 97 and Kalin Henn (57-55) 112.
