Pope John and St. Boniface students welcome all to their annual Christmas concert as they “Share the News” of Jesus’ birth! The concert will be held in the St. Boniface Gym on Thursday, December 19 at 7 p.m.
Groups featured will be the elementary students, fifth and sixth grade bands, junior high band and choir, and high school choirs.
The 3-6 grade students will be presenting a light-hearted version of the Christmas story in the form of a musical called “The Christmas Chronicles” by John Jacobsen. The musical features a Bethlehem newspaper fighting declining popularity and a rookie reporter named Scoop looking for a story to save the paper. Other characters include a hard-nosed editor, an enthusiastic sports reporter, a ditzy social reporter, shepherds, sheep, three cool kings, and many more.
All are invited to come and discover “The Greatest Story” ever known.
