Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., February 10th, 2014. Bids will be opened on February 11th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Superintendent’s office of Elgin High School. Specifications may be obtained from Superintendent Dan Polk located at 101 N 4th street, Elgin, NE 68636 OR on the Elgin Public Schools website at www.elgineagles.org.
All bidders are required to make an on-site or electronic (google earth or other) inspection of the site and provide 5 references from previous completed projects of a similar type.
Sealed envelopes must be marked “Elgin Public Schools Athletic Complex lighting”
Any bid received after closing will be returned unopened. Qualifying bids will be opened and read aloud.
Bid security will be required in the form of a cashier’s check or certified check drawn on a solvent bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the largest possible total for the bid submitted, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the largest possible total, made payable to the owner. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities.
