The Pope John Lady Crusaders toped Ewing in a nail-biter, 41 to 40 and advance to play Chambers on Saturday. Game time is 6 pm at the West Holt High School in O’Neill.
The Elgin Eagles fell to a tough Ewing team, 58 to 46 and are set to play Chambers boys at 4 pm at West Holt in the consolation bracket of the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament.
