If you attended the 2009 Elgin Vetch Days Parade, you may have noticed some vintage John Deere farm equipment making its way down Elgin’s main street. This caravan didn’t happen by chance. Organizer (of the vintage equipment) Gale Schindler says “I got her done” with some help from his son-in-law Stan Voborny and grandson Cordell Waterbury plus a few other helpers.
