Members of the Highway 14 Association, Inc. learned about Facebook and how to set up an account at their Thursday, Dec. 2, meeting held in the Aurora Technology Center.
Christian Evans, executive director of the Aurora Area Chamber and Economic Development Corporation, was the instructor. He gave many helpful hints and explained how Facebook is an additional tool to be used by individuals or businesses to spread information.
Membership letter changes were discussed. Additional information will be added, and invoices will be sent out soon. Membership cards for 2011 are printed and will be given to all members.
Edison Mission’s Laredo Wind Farm video is on the Highway 14 website. The wind farm should be producing energy this December.
