The Elgin Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) continues to receive donations from local and area residents for the new fire building. An account remains open at the Bank of Elgin for those wanting to help with the costs of the new equipment building.
Altogether, $1,685 was received last week. New donations were received from Dave & Carla Kallhoff, John & Tracy Beckman, Dave & Gwen Beckman, Chris & Laurie Waterbury, Jim & JoAnn Penne, Steve & Barb Finn, Randy & Sue Vanis, and Gene & Angie Selting. That brings the total so far to $36,148.
