Merchants in Elgin will make Thanksgiving special for a number of their customers with a free Turkey Give-A-Way. As a means of showing their appreciation to their customers for their patronage throughout the year, your hometown businesses will be giving frozen turkeys away on Monday, Nov. 24. Some of the best turkeys to be found anywhere, they’ll be happy to spend Thanksgiving roasting in your ovens. Before being frozen, they could be heard gobbling, “Eat me, I’m a turkey!”Persons can now register at the businesses for the drawing which will take place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Turkey winners will be announced in next week’s paper.
