Tickets now on sale for ‘Da Ladies Nite Out’

In another sign of things getting back to normal, the Elgin Knights of Columbus have set the date for “Da Ladies Nite Out” evening gala.
The event will be held Wednesday evening, April 7, at the KC Hall in Elgin. From the time the doors open at 6 p.m., ladies will be feted to a night of fine food and beverage, and a guest speaker with an inspirational message not soon to be forgotten.
Tickets are on sale at Dean’s Market, Lordemann Insurance and The Elgin Review as well as from any KC member leading up to the event.
Guest speaker for the evening is Erie Safford of Omaha.
He and his wife Loretta have been married for 50+ years. For the past 15 years he has been involved in multiple lines of motivational speaking.
“I have dealt with people in all aspects of life from very serious to hilariously funny,” he said,
Safford has spent the majority of his working years as a consultant to companies across the midwest, training and doing motivational speaking, believing in being proactive instead of reactive.
Together, he and his wife have worked with multiple groups within the church for over 50 years. He has held every position in church with the exception of the lead pastor. “My wife and I are currently in charge of the guest department of the church we attend as well as being leaders for a seniors group … including motivational speaking on a regular basis.”
Safford told The Elgin Review Monday morning attendees should look forward to his presentation.
“The evening will be filled with a lot of humor and enlightening stories building toward a serious but uplifting closing of what does your life story tell you today that your legacy will express forever,” he said.
