Congratulations to this week’s “Pride of the Pack”. Since football had a bye this week, we’re featuring two volleyball players. The Wolfpack volleyball team had games Tuesday night, Thursday night and played in a tournament on Saturday.
Liz Selting and Nikki Beckman are this week’s featured players. Liz, a junior, has been hitting consistently well early in this season. In Saturday’s tournament at Howells-Dodge, she recorded 21 kills and two ace serves in the three matches they played. The ‘Pack defeated Burwell and Shelby-Rising City in two sets then were beat by host Howells-Dodge in two sets. Senior Nikki has been helping the ‘Pack rack up the points from the service line. Against Boyd County last Thursday, Nikki recorded eight ace serves. This week’s “Pride” is sponsored by Kallhoff Electric LLC.
