The District #18 Board of Education is scheduled to meet this week.
Action on an increase in pay for Superintendent Dan Polk is on the agenda for the meeting to be held Thursday, Jan. 14, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The board will take action on approval of a two percent raise in the superintendent’s salary.
Other items on the action agenda are:
• Accept/reject any application for the early retirement incentive
• Make any modifications the board may wish to the early retirement policy.
Also during the meeting, the board will hear reports on staff development, self evaluation and superintendent evaluation tool, and the current custodial situation.
The meeting, open to the public, will be held in the distance learning room at the high school.
