The date has been set for a public hearing on proposed regulations for pipeline construction in Antelope County.
On February 3, beginning at 8 p.m., the Antelope County Planning Commission will hear comments for and against proposed guidelines.
Months in the making, the guidelines have been sought to address concerns regarding the proposed Keystone XL pipeline should it be approved by President Barack Obama.
The proposed pipeline regulations may be examined in the office of the Antelope County Clerk or the Zoning Office during normal business hours at any time prior to the public hearing.
All interested parties may offer oral comments at the public hearing and/or may file written comments with the Antelope County Planning Commission provided such written comments are received by the Commission prior to close of business Thursday, January 30, 2014.
