Chelsi Mescher displays her championship trophy after she won the state free-throw contest Sunday in Hastings. Chelsi and a girl from Atkinson tied for first place. They had a shoot-off of five shots to break the tie. There they tied two more times and in the last shoot-off Chelsi made 5 of 5 and the other girl made 3 of 5. Photo submitted
