Gloria R. Braband, 84 of Elgin, passed away on Wednes-day, February 11, 2015 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Elgin.
Officiating were Revs. Mary and Ray Avidano.
Burial followed at West Cedar Valley Cemetery in Elgin. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.huffmanlevander.com.

Gloria Ruth Braband, daughter of Thomas and Rose (Schauerhamer) Loughrey, was born February 12, 1930 at Chambers.
She was baptized at the Chambers Methodist Church and attended school in Ewing, graduating from Ewing High School in 1949.
Gloria married Earl Braband on January 11, 1950 at Ewing.
The couple made their home on a farm near Elgin.
Gloria was a homemaker, raising their three children: Roger, Raymond and Margaret. She moved to town in 1990, and had lived in Elgin since.
She was a member of the Elgin United Methodist Church.
Gloria is survived by her children: Roger (Joelie) Braband of Neligh; Raymond (Pam) Braband of Elgin; Margaret (Karl) Hensley of Elgin; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
