PLAINVIEW — In one of the biggest meets of the season, EPPJ’s girls wrestling team more than held their own Saturday.
Competing at the Plainview Invite, Libby Evans won gold, Anna Dworak placed fourth and Jayda Chessmore finished sixth in their weight classes.
For Evans, her day was full of pins. She pinned all four of her opponents to claim gold.
Dworak recorded one of the fastest pins of all wrestlers, taking out Jalee Haggerty (StP) in 28 seconds.
