The Elgin High School Alumni Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2009. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, June 17 (today). Please contact Randy Nelson at 843-2443 to make a reservation or for more information.The banquet will begin at 7 p.m. in the Elgin High School Gymnasium. This year’s honored classes are 1929, 1939, 1949, 1959, 1969, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1999 and 2009. Following the meal, scholarships will be awarded to several 2009 EHS graduates and the Honored Alumnus Award will be presented. After the banquet has concluded, an open house will be held at Elgin Public Schools.

St. Boniface School will be celebrating their 66th Alumni Banquet, on Saturday, June 27, at the KC Hall in Elgin. The St. Boniface School will be having open house from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Mass will be at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Boniface Church, followed by a social hour at 6:30 p.m. at the KC Hall, followed by supper at 7:15, with pictures being taken at 6:45 p.m. for all the honored classes. Honored classes are 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, and 1964. Deadline for reservations has passed. No tickets will be sold at the door. Questions can be directed by calling Don Mackel, 402-843-5514.
