Antelope County’s valuation rose by more than 10 percent from one year ago, according to figures released last week by the Antelope County Assessor Gene Schaaf.
The assessor certified valuations for sub divisions for the purpose of taxation last week.
For Antelope County, the taxable valuation increased to $1,161,286,739. One year ago the valuation was set at $1,040,738,844.
Schaaf said Monday the county valuation rose 10.2 percent from one year ago, in large part, due to growth and changes in some ag land values.
