The 2015 Elgin Fall Festival Crafts and Products Fair will be held this Saturday, October 3 at the St. Boniface Auditorium.
This marks the 36th year for the craft fair, bringing together area/regional craftsmen and area/regional shoppers for one fantastic day of homemade merchandise to buy and sell.
This year, buyers will find everything in one place.
“In the recent past,” Patricia Spieker said, “home-made items and vendors (home-based businesses) have been separated. We’re looking forward to them being together again.” She said the festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this year. Organizers generally arrive around 6 a.m. to help vendors do setup for the festival.
New this year, Spieker said, will be stained glass, leather crafts by Karen Siems, Essential Oils, wreaths & goat’s milk soap. Also, organizers are expecting a display from Simply Said Designs (vinyl sayings for the wall). The Young N’ Lively Club will be holding a bake sale. As in past years, the St. Boniface Altar Society will be serving soup, sandwiches, etc., Take outs are available.
