Dates Announced For PJCC Musical

The S. S. American will set sail on the stage of St. Boniface auditorium on Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18 as the students at Pope John present their 48th annual spring musical!
“Anything Goes” takes place in 1934 as a group of passengers make their way between New York and England.  The ship carries a load of colorful characters:  Reno Sweeney, a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker, a Wall Street broker who has come aboard in hopes of winning the lovely Hope Harcourt (who is engaged to another passenger, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), and a mediocre conman named Moonface Martin, aka “Public Enemy #13.”
Full of song, dance, and all the comedy that goes along with a musical love story, “Anything Goes,” music by Cole Porter, will be sure to entertain!
