ELGIN — For two quarters, Elgin Public-Pope John gave the Creighton boys basketball team all they could handle.
But, in the second half, Creighton pulled away to claim a 64 to 44 victory Monday night (Dec. 22). Trailing 27 to 26 to start the second half, the Wolfpack (2-4) saw the game slip away. The score was tied at 31-all when Creighton put together a 33 to 13 run to close out the game.
