High school football schedules for the 2010 and 2011 seasons were announced last week by the Nebraska School Activities Association.
The 2010 season will mark the first year for the football team to compete as Elgin Public-Pope John. The Wolfpack will compete in Class D-1.
Week one of the football season will feature a home game against Creighton. It will mark the first of four home dames during the regular season. Other home games will be:
Week Three — Osmond
Week Six — Burwell
Week Seven — Niobrara/Verdigre
The first road game for the Wolfpack will take place in Week Two of the season when they travel to Fullerton. Week Four will feature a road game against West Boyd.
Clearwater/Orchard will host the Wolfpack on Week Five. The final regular season game, in Week Eight, will be at North Central.
The schedule will be reversed for the 2011 football season.
