Speaker Announced For ‘Da Ladies Nite Out’

‘Da Ladies Nite Out’ preparations are underway here in Elgin.
A true sign that Spring is here, the annual event is held in April every year.
It is sponsored by the local chapter of Knights of Columbus and will be held on the night of April 23. Tickets will soon be on sale.
Annually, more than 200 persons attend the event which features a fine meal and a program which entertains and inspires at the same time.
Selected as the featured speaker this year is Elgin’s own Peg Schindler.
A mother of three, she is active in both her church and the community. Schindler’s program will focus on how one goes forward after losing a spouse. She will touch on unexpected death, forgiveness, believing in miracles and the signs that God has shown her. She shares the inspirational story of her life, love, and loss and how her faith has helped her survive.
Her message emphasizes how God is ever present in our lives. Peg’s words are sure to touch the hearts of others who have felt the pain of loss.
Peg is a member of the Omaha Archdiocese speakers group “Stoke the Fire.” She has presented at over 30 events across the state of Nebraska.
