Elgin Public Schools, Pope John & St. Boniface Begin Classes August 20
Summer ends and school begins for students at Elgin Public Schools on Thursday, Aug. 20.
On that day, school will begin at 9 a.m. and dismiss at 2 p.m. Pre-school will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The first full day of school will be Friday, Aug 21 with school starting at 8:15 a.m. and dismissing at 3:43 p.m. for high school students. School will dismiss for K-6 students at 3:40 p.m.
