The 2022 Play Production year has officially begun as both our local schools have made their play selections and taken to the stage to begin developing their chosen piece. Directors and crew from each school are busy building sets to serve as the backgrounds for their performance. Costumes and props are also being created, found, or purchased. All parts have been cast as students have begun the process of learning their lines, all in preparation for the upcoming competitions and performances.
Both Elgin Public and Pope John will perform for the first time of the season on November 15 in Neligh at the Conference One Act Competition. However, due to a change in Elgin High’s NSAA classi-fication, Elgin High and Pope John will no longer meet in District competition.
