After months of talking about it and/or writing about it, residents will get their chance to say what they think where it counts.
Polls will open at 8 am and close at 8 pm on Tuesday, December 16. At issue is whether Antelope County Assessor Julie Harrison should retain her position.
A recall petition was begun this past summer following attempts to have numerous 2008 Land Valuations re-evaluated. After the Antelope County Supervisors voted to change many of the valuations in Market Area 2 (primarily), the assessor appealed their decision to the state level where her new amounts were upheld.
