ELGIN CITY COUNCIL
Emergency Meeting
April 15, 2020
The Elgin City Council met on Monday, April 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., for an emergency meeting pursuant to posted notice. The meeting was held via conference call as per Gov. Pete Ricketts’ Executive Order No. 20-03.
Mayor Schmitt called the meeting to order at 1:10 p.m., and announced the location of the Open Meeting Act.
Council members present were Don Mackel, Mike Dvorak, Duane Miller and Jim Kittelson.
A complete and accurate copy of the minutes is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the City Clerk’s office.
The Council approved Garrett Fischer of Fischer Tree Service to remove three silver maples and one ash tree at the city park for $1,800.00. All council members voted aye, no nays and the motion carried.
Emergency meeting adjourned at 1:25 p.m.
