Notice of meeting published as required by statute.

A complete record of these minutes as well as all resolutions and agreements are on file at the County Clerk’s office and are open to the public.

Those responding to roll call: Bolling, Brandt, Kerkman, Baker, Williby, Henery and Schwager.

Tabled the dump truck bids pending further review.

Reviewed correspondence.

Reviewed the sheriff’s 2010/2011 income report.

Approved selling two county vehicles through the bid process.

Approved the Stop Sign Resolution; stop signs will be erected to control east and westbound traffic at the intersection of 520th Avenue and 862nd Road.

Approved the mandated changes to the STOP class curriculum.

Authorized the custodian to fix the east door of the old courthouse.

Discussed re-districting the Supervisor’s voting districts; this will be placed on the October 11, 2011 county board meeting agenda.

Adopted the 2011/2012 county budget with the following changes: set the Veterans Service Officer’s budget at $33,000.00 and increased the Road and Bridge fund by an additional $100,000.00.  These changes will increase the proposed property tax request for 2011/2012 to $3,563,866.61 and will increase the proposed 2011 tax rate to .281830.  The following are the amounts that were published on August 24, 2011 and will increase to the above mentioned amounts: 2011/2012 proposed property tax request $3,458,866.61; proposed 2011 tax rate .273527.

Authorized the county clerk to advertise for bids for Project #13905P Brunswick Northeast.

Authorized the county clerk to advertise for bids for the Airport Road Paving Project and the Oakdale East Bridge repair.

Signed the resolution setting the official detour route for traffic using 513th Avenue; said route will start at the intersection of 513th Avenue and 857th Road and extend east on 857th Road to 519th Avenue, then south to Highway 275 then west on Highway 275 back to 513th Avenue.
