The Elgin American Legion, VFW and their auxiliaries will be doing a salute to veterans at the final regular season home football game this Thursday, Oct. 13.
Julie Dwyer said veterans will provide the color guard and recognize veterans ahead of next month’s Veterans Day celebration. All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.
