The 2026 Pope John Homecoming Coronation ceremonies were held in the St. Boniface Gym on Sunday, September 27th at 5:00 PM.
Elizabeth Moser and Gavin Kallhoff were honored as the new royalty. She is the daughter of Michael and Gina Moser. She serves her school as an EMHC. Elizabeth is active in volleyball, basketball, student council, FFA, Junior Right to Life, one act, and the musical.
Gavin is the son of Josh and Tonya Kallhoff. Gavin participates in football, golf, one act, quiz bowl, speech, and the musical. He is a member of the student council, Junior Right to Life, FFA, and serves as an EMHC for his school.
Members of the Royal Court were Brayden Burenheide, Cameron Kallhoff, Brooke Kinney, and Samantha Stuhr.
Chosen by the seniors to crown the King and Queen was junior Matthew Kerkman, son of Steve and Becky Kerkman. Crown bearers, second graders at Pope John, were Sawyer Heying, daughter of Austin and Connor Heying and Britton Schindler, son of Corey and Kara Schindler.
Kinley Drueke served as MC for the ceremonies.
Following coronation, there were games planned by Mrs. Lauren Borer and Mrs. Julie Schiltmeyer.
