CEDAR RAPIDS — The Wolfpack volleyball team made it two in a row and improved their record to 5-5 Thursday night by defeating Nebraska Christian.
After dropping the first set 25-21, the Wolfpack came back to win the next two sets by the scores of 25-20 and 25-22.
Seniors Chelsi Mescher and Marin Heithoff provided the Wolfpack with strong attacks at the net. Mescher finished with a team-high 13 kills, Heithoff was also in double figures with 10. Stephanie Bode and Jenna Parks each had three kills and Madi Voborny added two, teammate Maddie Schiltmeyer had one.
Setter Parks had 18 set assists in the match, Mescher added nine. Voborny had the only solo block for EPPJ in the match.
