Moser Named Director Of Digital Communications For Nebraska 150 Celebration

The Nebraska 150 Celebration today announced that Elgin native Kevin Moser has been hired as director of digital communications. Nebraska will celebrate its Sesquicentennial, or 150th birthday, in 2017.
Moser, 27, will be responsible for all digital media initiatives, including the organization’s website, social media presence, photography and videography.
Moser had been the digital communications specialist at Peru State College since 2013, where he led the strategic redesign of the institution’s website. He previously served as editor-in-chief and web chief for the Daily Nebraskan at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
Regan Anson, executive director of the Nebraska 150 Celebration, said “Kevin’s expertise in digital communications will be invaluable as we promote the 150th anniversary of Nebraska’s statehood. Our web-based presence will be the chief marketing tool for this historic event and his vision will be key to ensuring every Nebraskan feels connected to the celebration.”
Moser said, “This is undoubtedly the greatest state in the country and it’s an honor to serve Nebraska in this role. I want to thank Governor Ricketts, First Lady Susanne Shore and Regan Anson for the opportunity to be a part of this historic celebration.”
Moser holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is pursuing a Master’s degree in organizational management from Peru State College.
