Ewing Boys Top Wolfpack

EWING — The difference between winning and losing is sometimes hardly discernible. Such was the case Friday night when the Wolfpack lost to Ewing 48 to 45 in boys basketball action.

In a battle of two evenly-matched teams, Ewing rode the three-point shooting of Jake Walton and Robert Nordby to the victory.

Ewing appeared ready to break the game open early in the first quarter, building an eight to two lead. The Wolfpack answered with a seven-to-two run to cut the Ewing’s lead to just one point, 10 to 9. Andrew Heithoff had two points, Evan Parks nailed a trey and Drew Schindler had a deuce in the run.
