Elgin Public-Pope John boys basketball team will host a basketball “Hoops For Hope” game against O’Neill Public School on Saturday, Jan. 9.
The game will serve as a fundraiser for the V Foundation to benefit cancer research according to Head Coach Tory Gilson. Persons attending the game are encouraged to donate to cancer research. Free will donations will be accepted and baskets will be passed through the crowd to accept donations.
