A season like no other in the history of Wolfpack basketball culminated with an appearance Saturday in the Class D2 State Championship game at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The top-seeded Wolfpack fought hard throughout the game but couldn’t stop Archangels Catholic as the Defenders won 50 to 30. Moments after the game concluded, the team hoisted the runner-up trophy as fans celebrated the moment.
